Al-Mustapha’s ‘International Conspiracy Against Nigeria’ Theory: ...To Deflect Attention From Govt-Level Local Collaboration To Steal Economic Resources And Official Complicity In The Reign Of Terror
NINAS Secretariat, 29 November 2022
Editor’s comments:
Major Hamza Al-Mustapha, a controversial figure accused by his own men of commanding hit squads, is now spinning a tale accusing Western countries of being behind the terrorism in Nigeria. What we do know is that in 1960 just twelve days after Independence, Ahmadu Bello made his infamous Declaration that with ruthlessness Nigeria would be turned into an “estate” of the immigrant settler Fulani.
As several in the West increasingly sound an alarm that genocide is loading in Nigeria for the purpose of re-establishing a Fulani Caliphate, Buhari and his Fulani-dominated government are accused of being complicit with the killings. (Please see the NOTES section below). It is therefore not surprising that Al-Mustapha, IBM Haruna and others are putting out narratives to counter these accusations of complicity with terrorism, and to distract from the discrediting of Buhari’s regime, and their governance style.

Al-Mustapha’s ‘International Conspiracy Against Nigeria’ Theory: A Hollow Sophistry To Deflect Attention From Government-Level Local Collaboration To Steal Economic Resources And Official Complicity In The Reign Of Terror
[Please see the NOTES section below for an example of Al-Mustapha’s accusations against Western countries.]
In pointing towards the International Community for the sprawling terror and resource theft in Nigeria, Major Hamza Al-Mustapha is merely engaging in his trademark hollow sophistry intended to deflect attention from the complicity of the Caliphate-run “Federal Government” of Nigeria in the bourgeoning crude oil theft and terror enterprise in Nigeria and the West African Sub-Region.
International conspiracy, yes, but that had always been present across the ages, whether it was Europeans Gold Rush to America that dislodged the Native Americans; or the British that went to India and Nigeria to loot and pillage; or Belgium going to Congo to loot minerals; or France rampaging and rummaging the underneath of Francophone Africa for resources.
But why did Al-Mustapha not see the local collaboration that placed the Fulani in joint venture with the British for the hijack of the oil and gas assets of the Greater Eastern Nigeria since before Independence in 1960?
Why did Al-Mustapha not see the complicity of Muhammadu Buhari in the Terror being unleashed by the murderous Fulani invasion of Nigeria, on an ethnic cleansing onslaught masquerading as “Fulani herdsmen?
Why did Al-Mustapha not see the self-evident complicity of Nigeria’s Minister of Petroleum Resources who also happens to be Nigeria’s President and Commander-In-Chief, in the humongous theft of Nigeria’s crude oil?
Why is Al-Mustapha talking about patriotism and building “our” Country when he has not made a whimper about the horrible Unitary constitutional arrangements imposed on Nigeria by his Principals and the Union Dispute arising from the resultant constitutional grievances?
What is the difference between the current lamentations of Hamza Al-Mustapha and those of quota-General IBM Haruna who was pointing us to the United States and the rest of the International Community as the ones organizing the terror in Nigeria, the stealing of Nigeria’s crude oil, and the plotting of the disintegration of Nigeria?
Juxtaposing Al-Mustapha’s postulations with those of IBM Haruna on the same subjects (ie mind-boggling resource theft and terror orchestration), is it not curious that the two were hoisting the blackmail of patriotism to “our country” whilst maintaining a sharp congruence and concordance in their failed attempt to divert the attention of our largely ill-informed people from the open complicity of Buhari’s “Federal Government” in the twin evils of Terror Vending and Resource Theft?
Here is the video clip of the Arise TV Interview where IBM Haruna was spinning the same line of sophistry:

Here is an example of Major Hamza Al-Mustapha’s narrative that the West is the source of the terrorism. This particular article is titled, “Al-Mustapha accuses western nations of plot to prolong Boko Haram insurgency”.

French philosopher, author, and filmmaker Bernard-Henri Lévy, in conjunction with ICON (an NGO), held a briefing to the USA Congress on the ongoing conflicts and human rights abuses in Nigeria. The briefing was held on October 28th 2021 in the Rayburn House Office Building, under the Tom Lantos Human Rights Commission. A Summary (transcript) together with the video is in the article (link below), but here are some things said during the Briefing:-
Robert Destro, former US Assistant Secretary of State for Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor: “…and so the message now is: Oh! it's the herdsmen, you know they're just poor herdsmen trying to get green space for their cows. The reality is that they're Fulani tribesmen, they're trying to re-establish the Fulani Caliphate. So, we know that the Turks are involved the Libyans…”
Piero Tozzi, Senior Advisor to Rep Chris Smith: “And it is important I think to identify who are the perpetrators and in this case it is Fulani extremists. It is ethno-religious chauvinism and it is something really that is impacting all Nigerians who are not [emphasis added] Fulani…”

Survivors and witnesses of raids by armed Fulani (labelled the world’s fourth deadliest terror group by Global Terrorism Index) tell us that it is about land grabbing and changing the demographics to favour the Fulani; and that the “farmer-herdsman clash” narrative is part of the Buhari government’s attempt to deceive the world about the Fulanization Agenda revealed in Ahmadu Bello’s Declaration (1960). Here is a short video “Hear Their Voices - Derek Christopher” telling us how things are in Southern Kaduna, where the state governor is El-Rufai, a Fulani, accused in 2014 by Lt-General Ihejirika (a former Chief of Army Staff) of being a Boko Haram commander.
