(Being a Public Statement issued in response to a campaign of calumny being orchestrated by the authors of a grossly misleading Announcement illicitly attached to the Yoruba Freedom Petition).
In response to a flurry of enquiries relating to several online videos in which unscrupulous elements allege that NINAS and Tony Nnadi are opposed to Yoruba Petition for Freedom and Yoruba Self-Determination, let it be known that neither NINAS nor Tony Nnadi is against the Yoruba Petition for Self-Determination or Yoruba Freedom.
The NINAS Notes of Direction issued March 16, 2022 was against the authors of an Anonymous Announcement illicitly attached to the Yoruba Petition and not against the Yoruba Petition itself.
What happened was that early March 2022, shortly after the Yoruba Petition to the UN targeting 5 million Signatures was launched, an anonymous Yoruba Group generated an elaborate Announcement attached to that Petition, claiming that once the 5 million-Signature mark is attained, it becomes basis for Yoruba Self-Government and that both Yoruba currency and international passport will be issued, in other words, it will be instant Yoruba Independence. (See the said illicit Announcement below)
Anxious members of the Yoruba public who took it for granted that the Yoruba Petition Campaign was being executed under the aegis and guidance of NINAS, began to send enquiries to NINAS Secretariat seeking clarifications as they would normally do on any matter relating to our Joint Pursuit in the NINAS Alliance. They attached the aforementioned illicit Announcement.
The claims made in the said Announcement were patently false and dishonest and the fact that the authors of the Announcement did not append their names even as the circulation was widespread, made it all the more suspicious.
Conscious of the need to encourage whatever each Bloc in the NINAS Alliance does to escalate our Campaign, NINAS initiated discreet enquiries to establish who the authors of the anonymous Announcement were, but no one seemed to know who they were.
It then became necessary to make Clarifications and so the NINAS Secretariat issued the Notes of Direction, dated March 16, 2022 [please see the link to said Notes of Direction below*], to clear the air as the impression was growing that NINAS was somehow in endorsement of the false claim that “5m-Signatures-Means-Independence” made in that Announcement.
Let it be noted that if no clarification is made by NINAS, it would be tantamount to acquiescence by NINAS in aid of a self-evident fraud.
As it turned out, some mischief makers who knew the truth of what prompted the NINAS Notes of Direction (and whom we now suspect were privy to that illicit Announcement), went to town with propaganda and a massive campaign of calumny in which they spread the falsehood that NINAS and Tony Nnadi are against Yoruba Freedom Petition and Yoruba Self-Determination.
Nothing can be farther from the truth.
On the contrary, I am glad to inform us that even amidst the minor hiccups and challenges that cropped up a few months ago, the implementation of the NINAS Constitutional Force Majeure is well on course, being executed as scripted and powering on to success in its Grand Objective of Dismantling the Fraudulent Constitution of Nigeria and freeing the trapped constituent components of the failed Lugardian Experiment of 1914 including the Yoruba.
Tony Nnadi, March 18, 2022.
