Nigeria In Constitutional Logjam: Transitioning Now Inevitable
NINAS Secretariat, 24 October 2023
NIGERIA’S INCONCLUSIVE 2023 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION TERMINATES IN CONSTITUTIONAL LOGJAM: TRANSITIONING NOW INEVITABLE.
(Please see the NOTES section below for the full text under the heading above)
Let it be recalled that by the Five-Point Proposition of the December 16, 2020 Joint Multi-Regional Constitutional Force Majeure Proclamation, NINAS sought the Suspension of Further National Elections under the Distressed 1999 Constitution of Nigeria and Prescribed the immediate initiation of a Transitioning Process for Union Reconfiguration.
The Operators and Enforcers of Unitary Nigeria plunged heedlessly into the 2023 General Elections and as it turned out, the Presidential leg of the Elections which took place February 25, 2023, ended Inconclusive and Controversial, plunging Nigeria into an Interregnum.
As the Appellate Courts struggle to adjudicate upon the Disputed outcome of that Presidential Election, NINAS by this 4-Part Broadcast, welcomes all to the beginnings of the Constitutional Logjam Precipitated by Nigeria’s disputed February 25, 2023 Presidential Election, now made more Controversial by the question of 25%-of-FCT-Votes Constitutional Requirement as well as the high drama surrounding the issue of Certificate Forgery emanating from a Court-Ordered Deposition by a US University namely Chicago State University (CSU) via its Registrar.
These Special Broadcasts shall provide guidance to understanding Nigeria’s irreversible march to the Inevitable Transitioning for Union Renegotiation, modeled largely after the 1990-1994 Transitioning Process by which South Africa eased itself out of the Apartheid Constitutional Bind.
