Post-2023-Election Nigeria: Shall We Move On To Further Damnation Or Make A U-Turn Towards Redemption?
Tony Nnadi, NINAS, 11 July 2023
In a heated debate BETWEEN supporters of the two frontline Presidential Candidates in Nigeria’s Inconclusive 2023 Presidential Election AND supporters of the NINAS Union Reconfiguration Propositions which rejects Further National Elections Under the 1999 Constitution, a supporter of one of the Candidates suggested that: we should just move on and let Nigeria’s democracy grow gradually.
Tony Nnadi of NINAS responded as follows:
“We have been moving on obdurately and heedlessly since May 29, 1962 when the Constitution of the Western Region was Unilaterally Suspended by the then Federal Government, resulting in the chaos in the Western Region that prompted the January 15, 1966 coup and the July 29, counter-coup that spiraled into the disastrous War of 1967-1970, precipitating the Imposition of the Unworkable Unitary Constitutional Order since 1979 as Victory Charter from that War.
We moved on as if nothing happened.
That is how Nigeria arrived at the bottom of all indices of Human Development, emerging the Global Capital for Poverty, a Killing Field and the Classical Study in State Failure, even as we lied to ourselves that Nigeria was still the Federation it was Agreed to be and that the Democracy we are building on a Rickety Constitutional Foundation was growing simply because we railroad the populace through the quadrennial ritual of election under a Constitution that Guarantees the atrocious outcomes for which Nigeria has acquired global fame.
There would of course be happy scavengers feasting on the Putrid Carcass of the Failed Lugardian Experiment of 1914.
There would also be clear-minded and determined remnants amongst the victims of the British Mischief of 1914 who will find the courage to Terminate that Failed Lugardian Experiment of 1914 (now embodied in the Fraud of 1999 [ie 1999 Constitution]), recovering hijacked Sovereignties for Fresh Protocols dictated by the Self-Determination Imperative for Constituent Components, trapped in that Failed Experiment.
These are the choices being made when we line up behind national elections mandated by a Constitution that make us slaves in our Homeland, OR queue behind the NINAS that is pursuing the Grand Union Reconfiguration that will liberate us from Bondage.”

When a society is based on PATHOLOGY like Nigeria, where some people think their lives matter, while those of others don't, you'll hear from them things like, "We should just move on and let Nigeria’s democracy grow gradually." because it is the poor who are facing the rapes and genocidal violence of the Fulani's conquest agenda.
It was the same (diseased) mindset that slave owners had about the enslaved Africans whom they could have liberated. They thought that because they and their children were not suffering, change could come "gradually".
Nigeria's pathology comes from the fraud called 1999 Constitution and the cruel constitutional order it brings about. No normal person, nobody with a sense of humanity would find it ok that such a Document continues in operation. NINAS is right. Transition now to Renegotiate the Nigeria Union.
