Responding to the torrents of lies, eulogies and homilies on ‘Forgiving and Forgetting’ that accompanied Gowon’s 90th birthday, Tony Nnadi wrote:
“Nothing can be built on the foundation of falsehood. Lies repeated a thousand times will not become Truth, and those who preach peace that is built on the foundations of grave Injustice will find themselves under the rubble of their hypocrisy and dishonesty.
In comparison with the homilies and sentiments on forgiveness, I invite us to review the video clip above (ascribed to Joseph Okechukwu) from a more objective and more honest commentator on the same subject of forgiveness.”
