There Is No Nigeria In Place Now For The Winner Of 2023 Election To Govern
Tony Nnadi, NINAS Secretariat, 5 January 2023
“Constitution means Union; demise of Constitution means end of Union. Those rushing to Elections in 2023 to determine who will govern Nigeria under the defeated 1999 Constitution, will wake up under the rubble of their folly and that would be the consequence and cost of their ignorance, dishonesty or obduracy”
- Tony Nnadi, January 4, 2023.
” By various individual and collective repudiatory actions of the constituent components of the distressed Federation of Nigeria, (spanning a period of 20 years from 1999), the fraudulent 1999 Constitution of Nigeria was defeated, delegitimized, and is now awaiting wholesale DECOMMISSIONING which could be jointly or unilaterally undertaken.
Those Repudiatory Actions include:
(1) The simultaneous imposition of Sharia by 12 contiguous states of the northernmost segment of Nigeria in February 2000. Whilst acknowledging that those states acted in Self-Determination, their action is clearly a Secession from the Secular Union of Nigeria, in Repudiation of the 1999 Constitution, in which Section 10, expressly forbids the adoption of state religion by either the Federal or a State Government.
(2) The Solemn Assembly of the peoples of the Lower Niger, held in Port Harcourt, on April 27, 2015, by which the Nationalities of the eastern half of southern Nigeria (ie the pre-1966 Eastern and Midwestern Regions or today’s South-East and South-South geopolitical zones), in the assertion of their Self-Determination, Repudiated the fraudulent 1999 Constitution as basis of the Nigerian Union that would include their territories.
(3) The Yoruba Solemn Assembly of September 7, 2017, held at Adamasingba Stadium, Ibadan, by which the Yoruba people of western Nigeria, in the assertion of their Self-Determination, Repudiated the fraudulent 1999 Constitution of Nigeria as basis of the Union of Nigeria that would include Yorubaland.
(4) The Emergency Assembly of the peoples of the Middle Belt, held July 18, 2018, in Makurdi, by which the peoples of the Middle-Belt territories of Nigeria Repudiated the fraudulent 1999 Constitution of Nigeria as basis of the Nigerian Union that would include their territories.
The implication of the December 16, 2020, joint Multi-Regional Constitutional Force Majeure by the Nigerian Indigenous Nationalities Alliance for Self-Determination (NINAS) is that the present Union of Nigeria as defined by the fraudulent 1999 Constitution is at an end, and the constituent components of the defunct Federation of Nigeria are now working out the terminal details of retrieving their Sovereignties in Formations of their choice, irrespective of the thoughts and disposition of the illicit “Federal Government of Nigeria”
The said Constitutional Force Majeure formally raised a Sovereignty Dispute, with a Five-Point Proposition for the Resolution of the Grave Constitutional Grievances of the constituent components of Nigeria.
That Union Dispute which must now be resolved by Nigeria is a Sovereignty Question and therefore goes beyond the Mandate and powers of the National Assembly.
It is Exclusively in the hands of the Constituent components of Nigeria to decide what they do with their Sovereignty in the face of the Defeat, Delegitimization, and impending Demise of the Unitary Constitution of Nigeria (1999) by which their Sovereignties were hitherto hijacked and confiscated.
Those who do not understand what Constitution means do not yet realize that there is really no Nigeria for anyone to govern now and so they are wobbling to election under a dead Constitution in the hope that the winner will address the fundamental issue of a damaged constitutional basis.
It is like pushing to move into a multi-storey house with a damaged foundation, at a time it is awaiting demolition for reconstruction.
Whether anyone understands it now or not, the Union of Nigeria is at an end on account of the Defeat and Delegitimization of the fraudulent 1999 Constitution upon which the defunct Federation of Nigeria is presently anchored and so Unitary Nigeria is essentially a Union-at-gunpoint which must now be dismantled for Reconstruction.
As things stand now, we have the Defeat and Delegitimization of the 1999 Constitution which is the Title Deed by which the Fulani hold the entirety of Nigeria as their Estate. This means that this victory over the 1999 Constitution has now brought our Sovereignties back to the table for our retrieval.
We must in that retrieval action, now Take Responsibility for Our Future and Charge of Our Spaces. If we do not, the Fulani who are already upon us on a long-drawn Conquest Mission will snatch and hold those Sovereignties and lands on grounds of CONQUEST which becomes the new basis of Title over our ancestral lands for them”
