(Being a Rejoinder by Tony Nnadi of NINAS to all who lament the failures and dysfunctions of the Distressed Federation of Nigeria, post-2023 Elections).
Listening to the Lamentations of Prof Pat Utomi here in the video clip above, it would seem that he has finally come to the realization that nothing meaningful can be achieved under the Unworkable, Fraudulent Imposed Unitary Constitution of Nigeria.
In searching for Potent Remediation to the Nigerian Quagmire, NINAS posits unequivocally that anything short of wholesale Constitutional Reconstruction of Nigeria will fail on all fronts whether it is about Economy, the free-fall of the Naira, Security, Cost of Governance, Infrastructure, Corruption, Bad Leadership, Education, Healthcare, Mass Poverty, Electoral Malfeasances, name it.
This was why NINAS sought the shutdown of the 2023 Electoral voyage under the 1999 Constitution and prescribed in place of Elections, the immediate initiation of a Transitioning, to undertake the inevitable Constitutional Reconstruction of Nigeria. As NINAS warned repeatedly, the Election has come and gone, but things have gone generally worse across board.
The Way Forward even now, is for Nigeria to make an immediate U-Turn from the wrong pathway of Unitarism and work its way back to either the FEDERAL Union it was founded to be or the CONFEDERAL Union that it would have become if Aburi was not abandoned. The alternative to these two is the immediate DISSOLUTION of the Union into Units of Independent Sovereign State Entities.
As Nigeria reels under the wreckage of the 2023 Presidential Election and the resultant State Capture, the NINAS Union Reconfiguration Template contained in the December 16, 2020 Joint Multi-Regional Constitutional Force Majeure, offers Nigeria and Nigerians the most Potent and Most Viable Mechanism for Navigating itself in the Immediate to the Union Reconfiguration Process to reset the Distressed Federation of Nigeria”.
